In preparation for the annual Exira Community Egg Hunt, 5th graders spent some time Wednesday morning stuffing Easter eggs, picking up sticks, and cleaning up around the community center. Don't forget to come out to the hunt Saturday at 10. Ages 5th grade and younger!!

Friday celebrations this week included K-2 drawings and 3-5 certificates. Well done Spartans!
Friday was the annual Leo Club Fun day for 3-5 graders! A huge thank you to Riann and the Leos for putting on a gym full of sugar and festivities! What a way to end ISASP week!
Wednesday, students in grades 3-5 helped the Danish Museum with a landscaping project. The landscape architects: Brett, Allie, and Adam helped us understand what they do and the task at hand. Lego models will be at the Danish Museum all weekend! Take the family, check them out!

Elementary Reminder: Please send coats with your children! Right now as students are at recess it feels like 39, and there are students that did not bring coats to school. We will need coats for morning recess especially for a while yet. Thank you for your support!

Congratulations to Fred Harris and Lily Bricker for being selected to participate in the Iowa High School Speech Associations All State Festival! Being nominated by 2 of their 3 state judges is a huge honor, and we are incredibly proud of them.
This season has been amazing, with over 25 students participating in speech—representing 4 group pieces and 38 individual entries. We’re so proud of the dedication and hard work from all of our students. Great job to everyone on an incredible season!
Congratulations to Fred Harris and Lily Bricker for their All-State Speech nominations! Their hard work and talent have truly paid off. Best of luck to them as they perform at UNI on Monday March 31st. What an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills! Great Job Spartans!
