E-EHK Elementary will be celebrating the fun and unique date of 2-22-22 tomorrow with TwosDay! Join us by wearing tutus, ties, and tennis shoes. We will have an all school dance party in the gym at 2:22 followed by celebrating the most recent Spartan Pride incentive earned with an ice cream bar.

Great Job to our Spartan Girls Basketball team with their win over the Sidney Cowgirls!!! The Cowgirls were defeated 54-40!!! Great Spirit was shown this evening!!! We hope to see you on FRIDAY against the East Mills Wolverines in Elk Horn at 7PM once again!!! Great job to coaches and players!

The Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton CSD is looking for a passionate and committed individual to serve our district as a High School Social Studies Teacher. The district’s elementary building (Grades K-5) is located in Exira and MS/HS building (Grades 6-12) is located in Elk Horn. This position would be located in our Elk Horn Building. The Elk Horn community is currently starting an onsite community daycare serving all aged kids which will be running by the Fall of 2022 and a convenient resource for staff members. Our MS/HS building recently received a Commendable rating from the Iowa School Performance Profiles. Our school and community are very proud of our students being above the state average in ELA and math proficiency and college and career readiness. Our students are actively engaged in activities with 79% of them being involved in at least one activity. Our districts’ communities are filled with community events and opportunities to get involved such as the 4th of July Parade, Fall Festival, Julefest, and Tivoli Fest. Coaching and sponsorship positions are available.
