Yesterday was National Instructional Coach Day. We have amazing instructional coaches at EEHK! Thank you Jen Petersen and Connie Jessen for all you do for students and staff and EEHK!

Yesterday our Kindergarten classes visted 3 Bee Farms for a fun, informative field trip!

Wednesday marked the first "BINGO at the Exira Care Center" visit for EEHK Elementary. Miss Ford's 5th graders were all too happy to enjoy some fun competition with the residents. Thanks to the Care Center team and Mrs. Nelson for coordinating such a good time 😄

Due to the homecoming parade & pep rally, the elementary did our Friday celebration on Thursday - K-2 drawing winners are pictured!

Class Colors Day in the elementary! Red - preschool, Purple - kindergarten, orange - 1st grade, green - 2nd grade, maroon - 3rd grade, white - 4th grade, blue - 5th grade









The high school cheer squad and Mrs. Blazek visited the elementary this morning to teach the Preschool-5th students cheers for tomorrow's pep rally. They are ready for some "marching" and a Spartan "V-I-C-T-O-R-Y"








In a stroke of luck, on animal attire day we had our first visit from Christina from Shelby County Conservation. She brought her hawk (Pirate) and owl (Harry) for us to meet as well as feathers and talons to pass around and feel!







Yesterday the elementary "went wild" with their animal themed attire!

5th graders had their first leadership opportunity this morning: helping the fall festival committee with clean up and prep for Saturday's festivities! Don't forget to come check it out -- there may be some teachers in the dunk tank... 😁
