As if it wasn't a busy enough week, 5th grade visited the middle school while 6th was on a field trip so they could learn about their big transition. Huge shout out to Mrs. Van Cleve, Mrs. Jessen, RJ, & the middle school teachers and staff who made us all feel so welcome!

Thursday the 4th grade class went on their field trip to Living History Farms. They toured the town & visited the schoolhouse, broomshop, general store, vet clinic, the bank, and more. Then, they went to a nearby park and had lunch and played on the playground. They had a blast!

April AR incentive was to enjoy some delicious Rootbeer floats!

A few more Earth day clean up pics because there were just too many good ones!

With a time of 11.44, Cash won the 100 meter dash and automatically qualified for state!

Yesterday (5/8) students K-5 did Earth Day activities. K-1 cleaned up our playground areas, 2-3 went to Legion park to clean up, and 4-5 cleaned up at Littlefield. Hard work never looked so good!

Congratulations to Cash Emgarten, who cleared with a jump of 6-01, which tied a school record! He won the state qualifying meet and will participate at the state in high jump next week.

A big congratulations to our April Students of the Month: Thomas (elem), Teagan (ms), & Irelynd (hs)!

Last Friday, Kindergarten took their field trip to the Blank Park Zoo. They participated in their educational program learning about snakes and armadillos. Then they got to explore the zoo and see all the animals.

Elementary Families:
This is just a reminder that students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will be participating in our Earth Day activities in the community tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8.
Please send students to school in clothes appropriate for the forecasted weather (55-60 when we leave the school) and shoes that are good the the current ground conditions (WET). We recommend sending students to school with a pair of shoes they can change into when they return to the school.
More information is included in an email just sent to families.
