Welcome to the official equipment fundraiser for the Exira-EHK Drama Program. We are launching a community campaign to raise $5,000 to completely overhaul our stage lighting system and give our talented student performers the modern production quality they deserve.
While we are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated stage space in our auditorium, the technology powering it has officially reached its limit.
The Challenge: Working with Yesterday's Tech
Currently, our backstage crew is operating on an obsolete, decades-old analog lighting board and dimmer system. The lights hanging from our rafters are power-hungry, burning-hot incandescent bulbs. For our students to change the mood or color of a scene, they have to manually climb up ladders and swap out physical sheets of colored plastic.
Our current setup restricts our creativity, limits what our tech students can learn, and relies on infrastructure that is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain.
The Solution: A Wireless LED Revolution
We want to swap out this outdated, rigid system for a fully modern, energy-efficient, and 100% wireless LED ecosystem.
By transitioning to programmable LED fixtures, our drama department can instantly change colors, create stunning visual effects, and control the entire stage right from a MacBook interface. Because these new lights are battery-powered and wireless, we can place them anywhere instantly—giving us total creative freedom without a web of heavy power cables.

Modern Digital Interfaces (allowing tech-minded students to learn real-world lighting design software)
